Explosion proof electric ball valve is a kind of universal valve widely used in the valve. It has large usage and fast consumption. Therefore, reasonable maintenance can not only improve work efficiency, but also reduce maintenance time and save replacement cost. In order to make the performance of electric ball valve stable and long service life, the following factors should be paid attention to:
1. Before use, water should be used to clean the over-current part of the pipe and valve body to prevent the residual iron chips and other foreign matters from entering the inner cavity of the valve body.
2. When the explosion-proof electric ball valve is closed, there is still some residual medium in the valve body, which also bears a certain pressure. Before repairing the electric ball valve, the shut-off valve in front of the electric ball valve should be closed, and the electric ball valve to be overhauled should be opened to completely release the internal pressure of the valve body.
3. Generally, PTFE is used as sealing material for soft sealing electric ball valve, and metal surfacing is used for sealing surface of hard sealing electric ball valve. If it is necessary to clean the electric ball valve of pipeline, it is necessary to be careful to prevent leakage due to damage of sealing ring.
4. If the explosion-proof electric ball valve is cleaned, the solvent used must not conflict with the parts to be cleaned, and there is no corrosion. When cleaning, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the residual dust, oil stain and other attachments. If it cannot be cleaned with water, it can be cleaned with alcohol and other cleaning agents on the premise of not damaging the valve body and parts. After cleaning, the cleaning agent will evaporate completely before assembly.
5. If slight leakage is found at the packing during use, the valve stem nut can be tightened slightly until the leakage stops, and it can not be further tightened.
6. Long term storage in the open air will lead to corrosion of the ball valve body and parts, which can not be used normally. The ball valve should be rain proof, waterproof and moisture-proof, and the flange cover should be tightly covered. The explosion-proof electric ball valve stored for more than 12 months should be retested to ensure stable performance.
